here’s what’s going on….
Vladimirs Fans, Friends, and Enemies…..
The Vladimirs are very happy to announce that drummer Ash Thomas is back with us. He has agreed to tour for the new cd entitled “The Odds Are Against Us” that is scheduled to be released in January 2004 by ANTIDOTE RECORDS.
Please check out their site with many other great bands and merchandise. The Vlads are planning our cd release show now, and will keep you informed as the time draws closer. We would like to apologize to all of our fans who were wondering for so long what was going on. This website will be updated more often from now on. We still have merchandise available thru us. We still have Night Gallery and So Fine Concubine cd’s for sale. And some Devil’s Bride 7″s. The cd’s are $6.50 but that includes shipping. And the 7″s are $3.00 shipping included.
Very soon we will have new t-shirts with at least one new design and some new stickers. I am going to try to set up an ebay account where i can sell our merchadise on a ‘buy it now’ basis so no one will have to bid on it and you can use PayPal. You can use Paypal now to buy any of our merchadise, you just have to contact me first to let me know.
Well, since we have been away for a while, here’s what’s new. Me (brian) and Doug have been spending tons of money on cd’s every week. I’m not kidding either we have about a $150.00 a week habit each. I have been writing new material but most of that is for all of my side projects. Marquis and I have begun working on the material he has for the next Vlad cd. We aren’t sure which songs we should work on first. Marquis has some great material that you guys haven’t heard yet. But we aren’t sure which route to go….a short cd of fast ‘rip your face off Vlad style’ songs, or a full length with a more Night Gallery feel. Write to us and let us know what you want to hear. Marquis has at least fifty songs written that he has showed me, and i think they are all great songs. Marquis just started working again, he got a job with Doug. He had run his savings dry by not working and drinking every night, playing video games all night long. Ash has still been doing well. His other band ESTUARY is almost done with the recording of their new cd for IBEX MOON RECORDS. I’m not sure when that is due out but, you can find out by going to their website www.tidesofestuary.com
I want to say thanx to a couple of people for their much appreciated help: Christ Crank (especially for helping me revive this website), Sin at ANTIDOTE RECORDS and his great record label, and Eric Blair for years of help and support. We appreciate all of our friends and fans, but without these people you would not be reading this news and none of it would be actually happening. Talk to you all again soon……….STAY SICK.
